          <h1>Vacancy of entrepreneur member: specified grounds trigger vacancy and government may nominate a replacement for remaining tenure.</h1> Vacancy of an entrepreneur member or their nominee is triggered by specified events: resignation, death, default in payment of dues, absence from three consecutive meetings, initiation of criminal proceedings against the unit, the unit being sick, closed or non exporting for over six months, or cancellation of the Letter of Approval for fraud or misrepresentation. Upon such a vacancy, the Central Government may nominate a replacement to serve for the remaining period of tenure.
