Renewal of approval for Customs Cargo Service providers conditioned on satisfactory performance and timely application The Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs may, on application made by the Customs Cargo Service provider before the expiry of the existing appointment, renew approval for a further period of five years from the date of expiration of the original approval or last renewal if the provider's performance is found satisfactory with reference to obligations under the Act and the rules, regulations, notifications and orders made thereunder.
