of <h1>Anti-dumping duty on D (-) Para Hydroxy Phenyl Glycine Base from China and Singapore imposed in 2002, rescinded in 2008.</h1> The notification from October 31, 2002, imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of D (-) Para Hydroxy Phenyl Glycine Base from China and Singapore, following findings that it was being exported to India below its normal value, causing material injury to the Indian industry. This duty was set to counteract the injury and retardation faced by the domestic industry. The duty, effective from February 15, 2002, was calculated as the difference between a specified amount and the landed value of imports. The notification was valid until February 14, 2008, unless revoked earlier, and was later rescinded by a notification in 2008.
