of <h1>India Ends Anti-Dumping Duty on Para Hydroxy Phenyl Glycine Imports from China as of January 2008</h1> The Government of India has rescinded Notification No. 122/2002-Customs, which imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of D (-) Para Hydroxy Phenyl Glycine Base from China. The designated authority's review concluded that while the goods were exported below normal values, causing continued dumping, the domestic industry could not prove that their injury was due to these imports or that discontinuing the duty would adversely affect them. Consequently, the anti-dumping duty has been discontinued effective from 14th January 2008, as per the powers conferred by the Customs Tariff Act, 1975.
