The designated authority concluded that Vitamin C was being dumped in India at prices below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, a definitive anti-dumping duty is levied on Vitamin C imports from China, regardless of the country of export. The duty is calculated as the difference between a specified amount in US dollars per kilogram and the landed value of the goods. This measure is set to remain in force until October 23, 2009, unless revoked earlier.
