Initially notified in 1995, the project's eligible cost has been periodically increased, now reaching Rs. 101 lakh. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare has recommended this extension and cost enhancement, recognizing the project's proper execution and its potential to extend beyond fifteen years.
