of <h1>Government Rescinds Customs Notifications 137/2000 and 82/2002 Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act, Effective August 15, 2003.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, has decided to rescind Notifications 137/2000-Customs and 82/2002-Customs, originally issued by the Ministry of Finance and Company Affairs. These notifications, published on 19th October 2000 and 13th August 2002 respectively, are officially withdrawn as of 15th August 2003. This decision is made in the public interest, and the rescission is documented in Notification No. 115/2003-Customs, dated 22nd July 2003.
