of <h1>Effective date for SEZ notification amended to 15th October 2003 under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The effective date for the notification concerning Special Economic Zones (SEZ) has been amended from 15th August 2003 to 15th October 2003. This change is made under the authority of the Central Government as per the powers granted by section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment pertains to the earlier notification No. 115/2003-CUSTOMS, issued on 22nd July 2003. The modification was officially documented by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and published in the Gazette of India.
