of <h1>Customs Notification 115/2003 Amended: Effective Date Changed from December 2003 to January 2004</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 115/2003-CUSTOMS, initially issued on July 22, 2003, under the powers of the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment changes the effective date mentioned in paragraph 2 of the original notification from '1st day of December, 2003' to '1st day of January, 2004.' This adjustment is deemed necessary in the public interest. The principal notification was previously amended by Notification No. 153/2003-CUSTOMS on October 14, 2003.
