India Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on Hexamine from Iran to Protect Domestic Industry; Duty Set at $122.53/MT
The Indian government has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on Hexa Methylene Tetramine, commonly known as Hexamine, imported from Iran. This decision follows findings that Hexamine from Iran was being sold in India below its normal value, causing injury to the domestic industry. The duty, set at 122.53 US Dollars per metric tonne, applies to imports originating from Iran or exported from Iran, regardless of the producer or exporter. This duty will be effective until September 16, 2003, and is payable in Indian currency. The applicable exchange rate will be determined based on the date of the bill of entry presentation.
