of <h1>India Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on Ferro Silicon Imports from South Africa and Macedonia Under 7202.21</h1> The Central Government of India has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of Ferro silicon under sub-heading 7202.21 from South Africa and Macedonia. This measure follows the designated authority's preliminary findings that such imports were priced below normal value, causing material injury to Indian industry. The duty, effective until February 12, 2003, is calculated as the difference between a specified amount and the landed value per metric tonne of the imported product. The landed value includes all customs duties except those under specific sections of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The applicable exchange rate is determined by the Ministry of Finance notifications.
