of <h1>India Extends Rice Export Validity for State Trading Corporation Until July 30, 2009, Under Foreign Trade Act.</h1> The Government of India, through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, has amended Notification No. 80 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 16th January 2009, extending the validity for the export of rice by the State Trading Corporation (STC) of India. The revised condition allows the export of the specified quantity of rice through the STC until 30th July 2009. This amendment is issued under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and is intended to serve the public interest.
