of <h1>India Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on Nepalese Acrylic Yarn Until April 2001; Rates Set Per Exporter</h1> The Indian government has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on acrylic yarn imported from Nepal, effective until April 9, 2001. This decision follows the designated authority's findings that acrylic yarn from Nepal was being sold in India below its normal value, causing material injury to the Indian industry. The duty rates are set at $0.69 per kg for Reliance Spinning Mills Ltd. and $0.84 per kg for all other exporters/producers. The rate of exchange for calculating the duty will be determined based on the date of the bill of entry presentation as per the Customs Act, 1962.
