Same or similar nature work disputes assigned to Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners under the Code on Wages framework. The Central Government appoints Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners (Central) as authorities to decide disputes on whether work is of the same or similar nature for the purposes of the Code on Wages, 2019, for establishments under the Central Government's jurisdiction. The notification supersedes the earlier notification, and separately allocates territorial jurisdiction among the named officers across States, Union territories and specified civil districts.
