<h1>Central Government amends multiple Customs exemption notifications, revises tariff entries and duty rates effective 1 November 2025</h1> The Central Government amends several Customs miscellaneous exemption notifications, substituting, omitting and inserting multiple tariff entries across Notifications 11/2018, 8/2020, 11/2021 and 52/2017 to modify scope of exempt goods, align references to Notification 45/2025, and adjust duty rates for specified tariff items and headings. The amendments replace numerous serial entries, remove certain entries and annexure items, add a new NIL-entry for specified table items, and set varied basic customs duty rates for listed headings. The changes take effect from 1 November 2025.
