of <h1>Government consolidates 30 customs exemption notifications into single superseding notification effective 1 November 2025; circulate update</h1> The government has consolidated 30 standalone customs exemption notifications into a single superseding notification issued 24 October 2025, replacing the earlier principal notification and certain entries; minor amendments were made and one entry omitted. Consequential amendments to central, union territory and integrated tax rate notifications were also issued; all changes take effect 1 November 2025. Recipients are asked to circulate the update to field formations and stakeholders for trade facilitation and to report any inadvertent errors or difficulties to the designated TRU contacts provided in the circular.
