<h1>Premium duck meat imports for 3-star hotels now Restricted under FT(D&R) Act 1992; other imports remain Free</h1> The Central Government, exercising powers under the FT(D&R) Act, 1992 and the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, amends the import policy conditions for duck meat under ITC(HS) Codes 02074200 and 02074500. Import of premium duck meat, as defined in the specified DAHD Office Memorandum and Department of Revenue Notification 13/2024-Customs dated 06.03.2024, is now classified as 'Restricted' when imported for supply to 3-star and above operational hotels recognized by the Ministry of Tourism. All other imports under these ITC(HS) codes remain classified as 'Free.'
