The policy change, effective from August 25, 2022, transitions the import status of Artemia cysts from 'Restricted' to 'Free.' This amendment is enacted under the authority provided by the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020. The notification was issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
