of <h1>India Updates Export Policy for Animal By-Products; Includes Collagen Peptides and Fish Protein in Schedule 2, Chapter 35.</h1> The Government of India has amended the export policy for animal by-products under Notification No. 41/2015-2020, dated November 8, 2021. This amendment, made by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, modifies the item description for Serial Number 173 in Chapter 35 of Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Classification of Export & Import Items. The revised description now includes collagen peptides of marine, bovine, or poultry origin, also referred to as collagen, collagen hydrolysate, hydrolysed collagen, or hydrolysed gelatin, and fish protein. This change is effective immediately.
