of <h1>DGFT Amends Appendix 3 of Schedule 2 in ITC (HS) for SCOMET Items; Updates Effective in 30 Days.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has issued an amendment to Appendix 3 of Schedule 2 in the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 2018, concerning SCOMET items. This amendment, effective 30 days post-issuance, updates the classification and will be available on the DGFT web portal. Immediate changes apply to Scheduled Chemicals listed in the annexure. This notification is part of the annual SCOMET updates for 2020, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020, leveraging powers from the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992.
