of <h1>India Introduces 2% Additional Incentive for Mobile Phone Exports Under HS Codes 85171211 & 85171219 for Q1 2020.</h1> The Government of India, through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, has issued a notification introducing a 2% Additional Ad Hoc Incentive for exports under two specific HS Codes: 85171211 (mobile phones, other than push button type) and 85171219 (mobile phones, push button type). This incentive applies to exports made between January 1, 2020, and March 31, 2020. The reward calculation is based on the lower of the realized FOB value of exports in free foreign exchange or the FOB value as stated in the Shipping Bills in freely convertible foreign currencies. The application for MEIS will also be considered for this additional incentive.
