of <h1>India Extends GSTR-1 Filing Deadline for High Turnover Businesses; Jammu & Kashmir Gets March 24, 2020 Extension.</h1> The Government of India, through Notification No. 28/2019 - Central Tax, has extended the deadline for registered persons with an aggregate turnover exceeding 1.5 crore rupees to furnish FORM GSTR-1 for the months of July to September 2019. The new deadline is the 11th day of the month following the relevant month. However, for those whose principal place of business is in the former State of Jammu and Kashmir, the deadline has been extended to March 24, 2020. Further deadlines for other returns under sections 38 and 39 will be announced in the Official Gazette.
