of <h1>India Extends GSTR-1 Filing Deadline for Jammu & Kashmir Businesses with Turnover Over Rs. 1.5 Crore Until Nov 15, 2019.</h1> The Government of India, through Notification No. 53/2019 - Central Tax, has extended the deadline for registered businesses in Jammu and Kashmir with an aggregate turnover exceeding 1.5 crore rupees to submit their GSTR-1 returns for July to September 2019. The new deadline is set for November 15, 2019. This extension is enacted under the authority of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, following recommendations from the GST Council. The notification retroactively takes effect from August 11, 2019.
