Deadline Extended for GSTR-1 Filing in Jammu & Kashmir for July-Sept 2019 to March 24, 2020 under GST Act.

The due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-1 for registered persons in the former State of Jammu and Kashmir, with an aggregate turnover exceeding 1.5 crore rupees in the preceding or current financial year, has been extended. This extension applies to the months of July 2019 to September 2019, with the new deadline set for 24th March 2020. This amendment to the earlier notification is effective from 20th December 2019, as per the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and was issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
