of <h1>India Extends Import Restrictions on Peas Until March 31, 2019, Under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020.</h1> The Central Government has amended the Import Policy for items under Chapter 7 of the Indian Trade Classification (Harmonised System), 2017, Schedule - 1. Specifically, the import of peas, including Yellow peas, Green peas, Dun Peas, and Kaspa Peas, remains restricted. The restriction period has been extended from January 1, 2019, to March 31, 2019. This amendment is enacted under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020. The notification is effective from January 1, 2019.
