of <h1>India Restricts Pea Imports Until December 31, 2018, u/s 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has amended the import policy for peas under Chapter 7 of the ITC (HS) 2017, Schedule 1. The import of peas, including Yellow peas, Green peas, Dun peas, and Kaspa peas, classified under Exim Code 0713 10 00, is now restricted until December 31, 2018. This decision was made under the authority of Section 3 of the FT (D&R) Act, 1992, and aligns with the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020. The notification was issued with the approval of the Commerce and Industry Minister.
