of <h1>Finance Ministry Assigns Adjudicating Authorities for FEMA 1999 Inquiries; Supersedes 2012 Notification Effective September 30, 2014.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, issued a notification appointing adjudicating authorities under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, to conduct inquiries for adjudication under Section 13. Effective from September 30, 2014, this supersedes a previous notification from May 30, 2012. The appointed officers include the Director, Special Director, Additional Director, Joint Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director of Enforcement, each authorized to handle cases involving specific monetary limits ranging from amounts not exceeding one crore rupees to cases exceeding ten crore rupees.
