<h1>India Raises Export Value Limit via Courier to Rs. 5,00,000; MEIS Eligibility Expanded, Port Restrictions Removed.</h1> The Government of India has amended the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020, specifically Para 2.47 and Para 3.05 of Chapter-3. The amendments increase the value limit for exports through courier service and post to Rs. 5,00,000 per consignment. Additionally, the eligibility for rewards under the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) for exports via courier or foreign post offices has been raised to Rs. 5,00,000 per consignment. The previous limit was Rs. 25,000. The restriction on ports for courier exports for MEIS incentives has been removed to facilitate smoother export processes.
