of <h1>ITC (HS) 2022 Schedule-I aligned with Finance Act 2025; new Chapter Policy Condition No.7 mandates CIB&RC registration for pesticides</h1> The circular notifies alignment of the ITC (HS) 2022 Schedule-I (Import Policy) with the Finance Act, 2025, effective immediately, detailing numerous tariff-line insertions, deletions, splits, merges and descriptive and note amendments in Annexures I-II. A new Chapter Policy Condition No.7 requires CIB&RC registration and non-prohibition under the Insecticides Act for pesticide imports; several pesticide-related HS codes are reclassified as Free or Restricted subject to chapter conditions. Customs authorities are directed to inform officers and report implementation difficulties to the Board.
