of <h1>Customs allows Bangladesh-origin export transhipment by road to Delhi Air Cargo, keeps pilot safeguards and bond requirement</h1> A customs authority amended prior transhipment procedures for Bangladesh-origin export cargo to permit road movement from the specified land customs station to the Delhi Air Cargo complex, effective 15.02.2023, in addition to existing Kolkata routing. The amendment continues the pilot framework requiring filing of a Bill of Transshipment, ECTS sealing and monitoring, a bond up to twice the goods' value, customs supervision during transfer, and submission of transference copies and manifest details at the port/airport; unauthorized unsealing triggers supervisory action. Trade stakeholders may report implementation difficulties to the local customs office.
