of <h1>Foreign Trade Handbook Update: New Pre-Shipment Inspection Agencies Added; Inspection Photos Required, IP Verification Needed.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended paragraph 2.56 of the Handbook of Procedure 2015-20 and updated Appendix 2G to include new Pre-Shipment Inspection Agencies (PSIA). Inspectors must now provide photos of inspection processes, and the PSIC must be issued from the inspection country, verified by IP address. Fifteen agencies have been recognized as PSIA, with additional instruments approved for one existing agency and expanded operational areas for seven others. These agencies are approved for three years or until further notice. Agencies must update their membership certificates and contact details within 30 days.
