Foreign Trade Policy Update: New Quota Allocation Eligibility for Dairy, Maize, and Oil Products in Para 2.61 Amendment.
The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended Para 2.61 of the Hand Book of Procedure 2015-20, specifying eligible entities for quota allocation of certain products. The National Dairy Development Board, National Cooperative Dairy Federation, and National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. are eligible for milk powder and butter products. NAFED and State Cooperative Marketing Federations are eligible for maize. NDDB, NAFED, Central Warehousing Corporation, and State Cooperative entities are eligible for specific oils. This amendment follows the de-notification of four Central Public Sector Enterprises, which are no longer eligible for quota allocation under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20.
