of <h1>DGFT Sets Import Guidelines for Water Melon Seeds: 15,000 MT Cap, Apply by Dec 13, 2021, with FSSAI License.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has announced the procedure for importing Water Melon Seeds under ITC(HS) 12077090 from January 1, 2022, to March 31, 2022. Import volume is capped at 15,000 MT. Applications for import authorization are open until December 13, 2021, and must comply with specific criteria, including the provision of a valid FSSAI License and proof of processing capacity. Only processors with an existing Importer-Exporter Code prior to the notice date are eligible. The Exim Facilitation Committee will evaluate applications based on processing capacity and past imports, with all imports to arrive by March 31, 2022.
