of <h1>India Allocates 5841 Metric Tons of Sugar to EU Under TRQ Scheme for 2021-22; APEDA to Manage Quota.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has allocated 5841 Metric Tons of raw or refined sugar to the European Union under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) scheme for the 2021-22 period, ending September 30, 2022. The export of sugar, classified under HS Code 17010000, is designated as 'Free' subject to conditions outlined in prior notifications. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) will manage the quota. Certification requirements, including the Certificate of Origin, will be overseen by the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade in Mumbai. Reporting requirements as per previous notifications will be adhered to.
