Exporters must apply online via the DGFT's ECOM system between the 1st and 3rd of each month for quota consideration. Applications will be reviewed per the Handbook of Procedures, with approvals given by the 10th of each month. Export licenses are valid for three months. Eligibility requires manufacturers to submit various certifications and documents, including proof of manufacturing and testing, compliance with standards, and a Chartered Engineer's certificate for fabric origin. Only one application per IEC is allowed monthly.
