of <h1>DGFT Limits Urad Bean Imports to 4 Lakh Metric Tons for 2020-21; Affects Millers and Refiners Only.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a trade notice restricting the import of Urad beans to an annual quota of 4 lakh metric tons for the fiscal year 2020-21, effective from May 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021. This import restriction applies only to millers and refiners, with procedures to be specified by the DGFT. The restriction does not affect government import commitments under any bilateral or regional agreements. The notification updates previous import policies and aligns with the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020.
