of <h1>Central Board of Excise & Customs Adds ICD Ludhiana and ICD Dadri for Metal Scrap Clearance in Updated Circular.</h1> The circular issued by the Central Board of Excise & Customs on January 12, 2005, amends a previous circular regarding the clearance of imported metal scraps. The amendment follows changes made by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade to the Handbook of Procedure. Specifically, two new customs stations, ICD Ludhiana and ICD Dadri in Greater Noida, are added to the list of stations authorized for metal scrap clearance. The circular instructs that this update be communicated to the trade community through a public notice, and requests acknowledgment of receipt. A Hindi version of the circular will be provided subsequently.
