of <h1>Metallic Waste Import Rules Updated: Unshredded Scrap Allowed Only Through Specific Ports; Sub-paragraph 2.32(i)(I)(c) Removed.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I, 2004-2009, regarding the import of metallic waste and scrap. The amendment specifies that such imports in unshredded, compressed, and loose form are allowed only through designated ports, including Chennai, Cochin, Ennore, JNPT, Kandla, Mormugao, Mumbai, New Mangalore, Paradip, Tuticorin, Vishakhapatnam, ICD Tughlakabad, Pipava, Mundra, Kolkata, ICD Ludhiana, and ICD Dadri, Greater Noida. Additionally, a specific sub-paragraph (2.32 (i) (I) (c)) has been deleted. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
