This application should be submitted to the Secretary of the ITA-1 section at the Central Board of Direct Taxes, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi. The Central Board of Direct Taxes will process the application for approval and notification by the Central Government. During this process, it may request reports from other departments or agencies as necessary.
