National Savings Scheme Rules notified as statutory rules, taking effect nationwide on 1 October 1992. The Central Government, exercising statutory rulemaking authority under the enabling savings statute, promulgated the National Savings Scheme Rules, 1992 by notification dated 15 September 1992; the Rules are titled the National Savings Scheme Rules, 1992 and are appointed to come into force on the 1st day of October, 1992.
