Application for a Certificate of Origin requires the final producer or exporter to submit the prescribed application with supporting proof of origin, Annexure-A information, the commercial invoice or other origin documents, and the HS code, description, quantity and value of the exported product where not already provided. Multiple items may be covered in one Certificate of Origin only if each item separately qualifies. The issuing authority may use a risk management system for pre-export verification, including cost sheets and factory visits.
