Amendment to Section 254 adds reference to subsection (2), extending the scope of subsection (2A) under the Act. Amendment inserts the words, brackets and figure 'or sub section (2)' into section 254(2A) after the phrase 'under sub section (1)', thereby extending sub section (2A) to apply where reference is made to sub section (2) as well as sub section (1); this insertion operates with effect from the 1st day of June, 2000.
