of <h1>Tenth Schedule Amendment Establishes Parliamentary Disqualification Criteria for Members Who Defect from Political Parties</h1> The Constitution (52nd Amendment) Act, 1985 modifies Article 102 by changing the explanation format in clause (1) and adding a new clause (2). The amendment establishes that a person shall be disqualified from membership in either House of Parliament if disqualified under the Tenth Schedule.
