        Reservation of seats for women to begin after delimitation based on first census and expire after fifteen years. Reservation of seats for women will take effect after a delimitation exercise using the first census figures post commencement of the Constitution (One Hundred and Sixth Amendment) Act, 2023 and shall cease to have effect after a period of fifteen years from such commencement; subject to Articles 239AA, 330A and 332A, reserved seats shall continue until Parliament provides otherwise, rotation will occur after each subsequent delimitation as Parliament may determine, and existing representation remains unaffected until dissolution of the then existing House or Assembly.
