Commencement provision: Finance Act sections are deemed to have come into force, subject to specified exceptions. The Finance Act, 1981 is titled as such and, unless otherwise provided in the Act, sections 2-45 and section 53 are deemed to have come into force on the first day of April, 1981, reflecting a deemed commencement structure subject to specified exceptions.
