Territorial extent: Foreign Travel Tax applies throughout India; commencement occurs upon Central Government notification of date. The Chapter extends to the whole of India and shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, thereby fixing nationwide application and deferring commencement to a government notification.
