of <h1>Foreign Travel Tax Provisions in Finance Act 1971 Ceased; General Clauses Act Section 6 Applies to Actions Before Cessation.</h1> Chapter VII of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1971, which pertains to foreign travel tax, is no longer in effect, except for actions taken or not taken before its cessation. The provisions of section 6 of the General Clauses Act, 1897, apply to this cessation as if Chapter VII had been repealed by a Central Act.
