Commencement: Specified sections of the Finance Act are deemed to have retrospective effect to the fiscal year start. The Act is designated the Finance Act, 1976 as its short title and, except where otherwise provided, specified operative sections are deemed to have come into force at the start of the applicable fiscal year, conferring retrospective application of those provisions to that fiscal period.
