District export promotion: decentralised action plans and committees to identify and scale local export potential. The initiative requires district specific District Export Action Plans (DEAPs) prioritising a few high potential products/services, setting quantifiable targets, and specifying interventions across production, certification, packaging, logistics and regulatory compliance. Each district must form a District Export Promotion Committee (DEPC), chaired by the District Collector and co chaired by the DGFT Regional Authority, to prepare, adopt, publish and implement the DEAP, coordinate training and buyer seller events, and mobilise convergence of central and state schemes and Department of Commerce programmes to address identified bottlenecks.
