Insolvency resolution for personal guarantors: new rules enable applications to the adjudicating authority under the Code. Provides a statutory rule framework called the Insolvency and Bankruptcy (Application to Adjudicating Authority for Insolvency Resolution Process for Personal Guarantors to Corporate Debtors) Rules, 2019, authorising applications to the Adjudicating Authority to initiate insolvency resolution against personal guarantors of corporate debtors, and stating the Central Government's rulemaking power under multiple enabling clauses of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, together with a specified commencement date.
